Community Outreach – bringing the museums to you

8 Adults with learning disabilities used the museums' and collections' objects and specimens to inspire dance and movement over a 12 week project.

A group from Mind at the Mill in Oxford created and put on display their own charms and amulets inspired by collections at the Pitt Rivers Museum

The Community Outreach Service provides free workshops and programmes for adult community groups, adult learners, and family learning groups.

These outreach sessions involve handling real museum objects, as well as a range of other hands-on activities. The sessions are delivered at your own venue and can be tailored to meet the needs of your group.

We also provide free workshops and guided tours at each of the museums and collections.
