Community Outreach – bringing the museums to you

The Oxford University Museums and Collections are proud of their role in "promoting a tolerant and diverse society"...

Volunteers recently joined museum and department staff for a new family event. From maps to minerals and earthquakes to earthworms, there was plenty to discover!

Community Outreach helps develop new guides for families with children with Autism.

The Community Outreach Service provides free workshops and programmes for adult community groups, adult learners, and family learning groups.

These outreach sessions involve handling real museum objects, as well as a range of other hands-on activities. The sessions are delivered at your own venue and can be tailored to meet the needs of your group.

We also provide free workshops and guided tours at each of the museums and collections. .
