Family Friendly Events

Visiting as a family? Check out our year-round family friendly events... Use the table below to see what's on at each of our museums and collections. From planting to painting; the deep blue sea to the sky above us; storybook characters, historical figures, and myths and monsters – there's something for everyone!

Please note, whilst family activities are free, there is an entry charge for adults at the Botanic Garden and Arboretum.

If you are planning a visit with children on the autistic spectrum or with support needs, have a look at the Museum of Natural History's 'About the Museum' and 'Planning Your Visit' resources here (link opens in new tab).
