VERVE Need, Make, Use

VERVE is a five-year project, supporting the vital conservation and redisplay of selected cases in the Pitt Rivers Museum. With the assistance of volunteers, it also facilitates a varied programme of free public activities under the theme of 'Need, Make, Use'.

Volunteer support means we can offer a wide range of events, including AfterHours and Crafty Networking evenings, Family Friendly activities, Pitt Fest (Need Make Use Day), and community outreach activities in our pop-up-tent, to thousands of visitors each year.

Volunteers bring a diversity of skills, interests, and perspectives, helping with everything from object handling to demonstrating craft skills and from welcoming visitors to getting their feedback...
